Current and Planned Projects
Brave New Horizons is actively engaged in a range of projects. These currently include (but are not limited to) projects in the categories below.
As you will see from the list below, medicine is our primary current focus and interest, but not to the exclusion of other areas of actual or potential interest. Please also note that you don't need to have an interest in, or sympathy for, every project on this list, in order to join our network and sympathize with our general principles. It is more than sufficient to apply our general principles, and Paradigm Analysis, to your chosen area of interest: not all members are engaged in all projects or even interested in them.
General:
-
Founding of Brave New Horizons. Finally launched publically in April 2009
-
Establishment of an international Advisory Board of world-class experts (list forthcoming at this website)
-
Launch of the online Brave New Horizons encyclopaedia, 'The Wisdom Wiki,' an international 'think tank' point of contact for sharing and evolution of ideas (link forthcoming)
- Production of 'Fireside Chat CD Series' by founding members Kevin Eakins and Simon Rees (see here for more information)
- Founding of The Living Systems Revolution blog and website. Founded in November 2010

Medicine:
-
Collaboration with many scientists and activists around the world for the creation of a groundbreakingly comprehensive and yet highly accessible online Mercury Amalgam Scientific Bibliography for educational and research purposes. The pilot version has already been prepared under the title "Environmental Medicine Bibliography" and we aim to make it available soon (but it's not yet there) at this link. View on a single page an executive summary by category of the major science on this subject - while also being able to click on links which lead to thousands of studies and citations in each area - drawing from contributions made by the world's most highly esteemed experts in the field, such as The IAOMT and many others. Paradigm Analysis, as applied to medicine, has elucidated the greatly under-emphasized importance of immuno-toxicology, and particularly the role of certain key toxins such as mercury in the pathogenesis of today's widespread illnesses. As such, Brave New Horizons actively supports projects aimed at increasing awareness of toxicological concerns and environmental medicine.
-
Production of a series of Medical Documentaries on potential subjects such as: Field Control Therapy and ALS/MND; The Causes and Rising Rates of Many Chronic Illnesses such as Alzheimer's Disease, Autism, Cancer & Heart Disease; Environmental Medicine & Mercury Amalgam Toxicity; Information Medicine & Field Control Therapy
-
Formulation of scientific research models for the funding and organisation of a series of Clinical Trials assessing the efficacy of Field Control Therapy as a systems-based approach to medicine - to be evaluated: (a) in the treatment of particular chronic diseases; & (b) in the treatment of heavy metal poisoning. Paradigm Analysis, as applied to the field of medicine, highlights the importance of innovating a new paradigm of medicine which incorporates findings from bio-physics, immuno-toxicology and other important sciences. As Field Control Therapy is a medical approach based on this need, Brave New Horizons actively supports projects aimed at increasing awareness of it, enabling students to master it, and furthering scientific research into its clinical practice.
-
Production, on behalf of FCT World, of a complete DVD home-study course formulating part of 'The Field Control Therapy Graduate Programme'
-
Production, on behalf of SYY Integrated Health Systems, Ltd., of a series of DVD and audio-visual CD seminar presentations by Dr Savely Yurkovsky, the latest entitled 'Introduction to Field Control Therapy, Athens, Sep 2008'
- Production, on behalf of The Klinghardt Academy, of a DVD, and accompanying audio-visual CD, presentation by Dr Dietrich Klinghardt entitled 'Mercury and Environmental Toxicity, London, Oct 2008'
Production, on behalf of The Klinghardt Academy, of a seven-disc box-set of DVDs comprising Dr Dietrich Klinghart's presentation 'Autism: Road Map to Recovery, London, Sep 2009'

Other:
-
There is no reason Brave New Horizons could not develop a potential interest in another field not listed above, applying the same principles, and Paradigm Analysis, to that field, as time allows. It is also true that while the time and interest of its founding members are mostly limited at present to a passion for medical projects, there will no doubt be other future members of Brave New Horizons who may prefer to devote their time to other areas of potential interest, thus extending the scope and activities of our network of innovation.
- Remember: Information is power, and through our networking efforts to bring the 'Information Revolution' forwards in medicine and other fields, we can contribute to a global movement to transform human society as we know it.
- Brave New Horizons thus also maintains a 'wish list' of other areas and project of potential future interest. The common factor, in each case, is an area (a) of important humanitarian need; (b) in which poor results can be observed overall, indicating a failure of the current paradigm, and hence a need for Paradigm Analysis - as well as Systems Analysis in order to ascertain an overview of the whole system in question, including any self-defeating unintended consequences of the current paradigm resulting from over-specialization on a faulty and/or narrow approach.
