Our Members
The members of Brave New Horizons are a global network of individuals brought together through a common passion for innovation and wisdom. Our members include an Advisory Board of world-class experts in diverse fields of science.
With rare exceptions, membership is by invitation only, but the general public are invited to enjoy our various resources by participating in our Discussion Board, using the Wisdom Wiki encyclopaedia, etc. If you are a member you can enter our private area here.
The founding members of Brave New Horizons are an international group called ‘Friends of FCT,’ who share a common interest in immuno-toxicology, bio-physics and Field Control Therapy (FCT®), a paradigm and system of medicine pioneered since 1999 by Savely Yurkovsky, M.D. according to the principles of Brave New Horizons.
These founding members also share more generally a common interest in deep systems-based information-field-based paradigms, such as FCT® and others, posed to address and avoid problems related to the ‘toxic world, toxic body, toxic mind’ syndrome of modern civilization. This is because these form an emerging set of inter-related paradigms that represent the 'brave new horizons' of our times in many fields of knowledge.
Brave New Horizons was launched publically in its current form by Simon Rees and Kevin Eakins in April 2009, as the 'think tank' / R & D branch of the Wisdom Foundation.
The Wisdom Foundation provides the inspiration, principles and underlying template for its think tank Brave New Horizons, which takes this template into new fields of creative endeavour and innovation to help bring society forward into more enlightened paradigms. Another way of putting this is that Brave New Horizons is the creative arm of the Wisdom Foundation which, prior to this, existed in private amongst its founding members for many years (under various other "working title" provisional names, which have since fallen out of use, such as for example The Vanguard, The Creative Wisdom Foundation, The Genius Foundation, The Genius and Vocational Passion Scholarship Fund, The Deep Energy Medicine Association, The Field Control Foundation, The Foundation for Humanity), before evolving into its current form. At present, the new name Brave New Horizons remains in its pilot phase, pending feedback from our members. Let us know what you think. As the underlying principles of the think tank and wisdom-driven movement are profound and multi-layered, specifying a single name that could do it justice has not proven an easy task over the years.
