Our Outlook

We recognize that the human race has created a global toxicological, environmental, social and health crisis.

Also, that this catastrophe has occurred partly due to mismanagement of ourselves and our environment, stemming from a widespread lack of understanding and support for the self-questioning process of wise innovation as defined here, leading to unwise decisions being routinely made in all areas of society.

This is evidenced by the high proportion of cases where pioneers making wise innovative strides forward in diverse fields - such as for example Savely Yurkovsky, M.D., in the field of medicine, or Shantam Dheeraj in the field of yoga and meditation - are not welcomed into mainstream discourse but instead ostracized and marginalized, as Columbus, Galileo, Van Gogh and hundreds of other innovators and visionaries have been throughout history, in a trend which continues today. We perceive this to be a primary source of society’s major dilemmas, because when we fail to study, recognize and foster the characteristics of innovation and wisdom in ourselves and others, we feed this historical trend.

However, by charting a new course, we seek to modify this common human failing, based on mankind’s capacity to learn and change. We recognize humanity’s great creative potential and so intend to help set things right by establishing new trends and horizons for medicine and other areas of human civilization.

Brave New Horizons is non-partisan, non-denominational and non-affiliated, adhering only to universal humanitarian and scientific principles that transcend differences of opinion between political, religious, academic or other authorities.

There is always an easy solution for every human problem – neat, plausible, and wrong.” (H.L.Mencken, 1917)

“May all sentient beings be free from suffering, and from the causes of suffering.” (Gautama Buddha, c. 500 BC)
