The "Information Revolution"

Fireside Chat CD Series

Piloted in April 2009 to mark the launch of Brave New Horizons, founding members Simon Rees and Kevin Eakins decided to prepare for the release of the first in a series of audio CDs. The series aims to take the listener on an extraordinary and entertaining tour through some of the most exciting frontiers of the ideas of our time.

Each CD is the unadulterated live recording of a 'fireside chat' between Kevin and Simon without a plan, notes, rehearsal or censorship of any kind, resulting in a completely spontaneous and frank 'meeting of minds' on a broad range of topics of mutual interest.

Armed for each occasion with nothing more than a few books in hand to discuss or quote from, according to their fancy, Simon and Kevin invite you to join them as though you had been sitting with them by the fireside yourself!

The first CD in the series is entitled "Information Medicine - A New Frontier."

About 2 and a half hours in length, this first Fireside Chat packs no punches but cuts straight to the heart of one of our biggest passions - what we have nicknamed 'The Information Revolution' - and the ways in which this is already transforming medicine as well as many other areas of society. From here, the conversation moves into many other areas - for a summary of the contents by topic, click here [link forthcoming]. To order a copy of this CD, click here [link forthcoming]. We aim to have this CD up in production and available soon!
